Why the ratings repeat
A rating belongs to the product, not to the colour you happen to be looking at. That is why a navy twin and a black twin show the same 4.4 stars and the same four thousand ratings: they are the same blanket in two colours, and every review of either one counts towards both.

What the map is worth
It tells you two useful things. First, that a 4.4★ rating with four thousand ratings on a colour nobody has reviewed is the family's rating, not that colour's. Second, that a card with eleven ratings of its own is a genuinely new product and its stars mean much less than the number of them suggests.
Reading a card before you buy
- Look at the review count. Four figures means you are looking at a long-established family.
- Check that the specification in the bullets matches the variant name you selected, size and colour change, wire length occasionally does too.
- If the count is under about fifty, treat the stars as provisional.
