The twin blanket states 86–113 °F. The throws state 86–122 °F. Both are our own figures, recorded 2026-08-25, and both describe the surface of the fabric rather than the temperature of the room or of the person under it.
Skin sits around 91 °F. The bottom of the range is therefore close to neutral: level 1 on any of these blankets reads as “not cold” rather than as warm. The top of the range is perceptibly warm to the touch and quite hot under a duvet, because a cover traps what the blanket produces.
That is why most owners settle two or three levels below maximum once the blanket has been on for ten minutes. The high levels are for the first ten minutes, not for the night.
